For the second consecutive year, Synergy Corporate Housing has received three Gold Supplier Excellence Awards at the Cartus Global Network Conference recently held in Dallas, Texas.
“We are proud and honored to have once again received three awards across two categories from Cartus. Innovation, people, and passion are our core values, and these values are incorporated into every facet of our corporate strategy. Today’s recognition is a testament to our success as a global leader in corporate housing, and it reaffirms our commitment to assuring the highest quality, luxury, and style in everything we do,” said Jack Jensky, one of the company’s Founding Partner.
Since it was founded in San Ramon, during 1999, Synergy has opened offices in San Francisco, Silicon Valley, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Dublin, Ireland.
The move to San Diego, in May 2011, came about through the company’s relationship with Cartus. The city’s wide variety of industries, ranging from technology to biosciences to government, make it a sought after location. Synergy has taken apartment units at some of the city’‘s most beautiful and sought after apartment communities, including Regents La Jolla, Costa Verde, and Circa 37, and provides temporary accommodation for business people.
One of Synergy’s award’s was for its ‘Make it Personal’ Strategy.
“Synergy has set the bar for the new standard in temporary living – providing HD DVR, wireless internet access, organic refillable toiletries and iHomes in each of their apartments,” said Jack Jensky, Founding Partner of Synergy. “Synergy has developed the most unique ‘living spaces’ and customized solutions for their clients and guests. We are offering sustainable furniture packages, top of the line Sonos home entertainment systems, bicycle rental programs and more. We have proudly taken our product and service to the next level by offering the latest in technology. In 2011 we designed the high-tech PAD unit as a live/work space to provide our guests with a collaborate environment. In 2012 Synergy launched a mobile app for your iPhone or Android providing paperless instructions. Now in 2013, Synergy has advanced our technology by providing ‘Curb to Door’ video instructions, making the move in experience streamline and precise for the guest’s arrival.”
Another of Synergy’s awards came about through Sustainability initiatives such as its “Green Cleaning Policy Program.” This outlines exhaustively new standards for purchasing sustainable cleaning products and equipment, rigorous employee training requirements and the environmentally best cleaning practices.
Synergy paired with Fashion Furniture to deliver over 500 “Synergy Eco-Beds” in our core inventory throughout California. The mattresses are made from anti-microbial eco-latex, bamboo and hemp fibers. The frame is made of Spruce wood from sustainable forests, and the sheets and pillow cases are 100% organic cotton.
Synergy placed refillable toiletry sets in 100% of bathrooms in our core inventory. Replacing the industry standard trial size with refillable sets decreased the amount of plastic used by our guests by approximately 1,031.25 lbs. per year.
“Social responsibility and environmental stewardship are core components of the Synergy brand. By demonstrating our commitment to sustainability, not only in words, but also in our actions, we are able to align and partner with an array of corporate clients genuinely focused on responsibly managing their environmental impact. Our innovations in sustainability have reduced our resource consumption costs by tens of thousands of dollars each year, and have helped to shrink our worldwide carbon footprint,” said Jennifer Carter, Synergy Corporate Housing Marketing Supervisor.
More than 10% of Synergy’s current apartment inventory is LEED certified. This includes San Diego buildings like “Circa 37” and “Avalon at Mission Bay,” as well as numerous other holdings.
Synergy’s third award of the night was a Gold Commitment to Excellence Award, presented to Synergy for outstanding service excellence for 2013. This award recognizes a supplier’s measurable commitment to excellence and is presented to Global Network service providers who have distinguished themselves by achieving critical performance metrics.
Their commitment to excellence extends to their corporate headquarters, at Bishop Ranch 8 in San Ramon. This is a LEED certified building and Synergy has cut down on paper usage by using electronic file storage and paperless invoices in their accounting department.
